SUNDARA (open-box)

I bought the Sundara Open Box with modest expectations, but it has been a wonderful surprise. The sound is balanced, natural and engaging, with a full, well-controlled bass and smooth treble that never becomes harsh. It performs beautifully with every genre I have tried, from rock to complex jazz and world music. Build quality was excellent, and the headphones arrived in perfect condition. At this price, the Sundara is an outstanding value and one of the best audio purchases I have made.

I’m very happy with the SUNDARA. The sound quality is excellent—clear, detailed, and natural, with a spacious presentation that makes long listening sessions very enjoyable. The overall build quality is also very good, especially considering the value.

The only minor issue for me is the clamping force. After an hour or two, the clamping force becomes noticeable and my ears start to feel some pressure. I hope this eases as the headband loosens with use, because otherwise these headphones are outstanding.

Overall, I’m very satisfied with my purchase and would definitely recommend the SUNDARA to anyone looking for an open-back headphone with exceptional sound quality.

The sound quality is excellent. Putting them on for the first time feels so weird! Without anything playing it feels like you're not wearing any headphones. They are almost completely transparent to the environment. The drivers are so sensitive to back pressure that having your hand a foot away from your head will change the sound.
This is not a complaint, quite the contrary! This is probably how every open back planar headset behaves, I've just never had a pair until now.
Since they are open back and very transparent you can't use them in noisy environments but when you're at home you will experience full immersion and accurate sound.

I am really delighted with these headphones.and the fabulous service received from Hifiman store. These headphones serve to connect to my FIIOJM21 dac player and have a very vivid sound stage . 5/5 stars
