SERENADE (open-box)

Wonderful amp. Open box, very competitive price and seemed like new. Adds deeper layers to my headphone (Arya stealth), reducing some mid level harshness, adding warmth and detail.

Nice design, slightly used for a good price. Bought wifi module and it works with serenade rj-45 smoothly for tidal

OK, I had somewhat mixed feelings, upon arrival of the Serenade and after noting few little scratches on its face, a slight paint off where the balanced headphones is .. Then it arrived in winter Europe, and i decided to put it in the rig very cold, and forgot to even warm up my class A amp .. And immediately compared it to my trusty old DAC - it sounded like a disaster in the making - with short and not even present highs, thin, unacceptable everything. Few hours later I was for the biggest transformation in my audiophile life ever! Was this DAC the most wonderful one i heard to date, yes, did it destroy my trusty XXX DAC - almost, did everything, but mostly soundstaging, imaging, grain, presence - improve ? You bet. Is this an endgame DAC ? It is now !
