HE1000 UNVEILED (open-box)

Not really great. Yes the sound stage is lovely and wide but it lacks depth. The air in the treble is rolled off which may suit previous non-Hifman fans. The bass lacks impact but it is textured and extends well. Overall quite an uninteresting listen compared to the standard HE1000 and SE versions. I sent mine back and much preferred the non veiled HE1000’s. And no, they are nowhere near as good as the Susvara in case anyone hopes so.

Open an effortless sounding with a neutral sound signature. Great companion to the serenade wireless.

Having previously owned a pair of HE1000v2, all i can say is these are substantially better. The treble is less bright , the soundstage is improved with more depth and much more separation , but the bass is the absolute standout to my ears . They are ASHSTONISHINGLY good. Full stop. Period
